Dawnmarie Gmerek - Practice Manager

Dawnmarie has been an integral part of The Foot Doctor since its inception in 2003, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to every aspect of running the practice. As a key leader in the organization, she provides invaluable management and direction to all staff, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Dawnmarie oversees a broad range of responsibilities within the medical practice, including staff scheduling, patient scheduling, medical education, risk management, payroll, credentialing, certification, and licensure. She also handles accounts payable, marketing, customer service, and a variety of daily corporate tasks, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to the success of the practice.

Her leadership extends beyond administrative duties as she plays a crucial role in supporting the ongoing operational success of the company’s business initiatives. Dawnmarie collaborates with healthcare partners in the community, fostering strong relationships and working toward shared goals. Her ability to manage such a wide range of responsibilities while maintaining a focus on high-quality patient care and a positive work environment is a testament to her exceptional organizational skills and leadership.

Dawnmarie works closely with the President and CEO, Dr. Gmerek, to ensure that every decision made aligns with the best interests of both employees and patients. Her strategic insight and hands-on approach help guide the practice to continued growth and success. While Dawnmarie’s primary location is our Henrietta office, you may also find her visiting our Avon and Geneseo locations from time to time, always making sure that each office operates at its best. Kierstin - Medical Administrative Assistant 

Kierstin is our exceptional Medical Administrative Assistant at The Foot Doctor, and she plays a vital role in keeping our practice running smoothly. With her friendly, outgoing personality, Kierstin instantly connects with our patients, and they absolutely love her! She works closely with the Practice Manager to handle all the daily administrative duties required to ensure our practice operates seamlessly. Whether you're speaking with her over the phone or in person, Kierstin is always ready to go the extra mile to make sure your needs are met and that your experience with us is as positive as possible.
Kierstin’s dedication to customer service shines through in every interaction. She takes the time to listen to patients, address their concerns, and help them with anything they need, making her a trusted point of contact for our office. Her caring nature and commitment to providing the best care set her apart as both a team player and an advocate for our patients.
In addition to her administrative role, Kierstin also fills in as Medical Assistant and Medical Receptionist across all of our offices whenever needed. Her versatility and ability to step into multiple roles highlight her value to the team and make her an indispensable part of our practice. She consistently goes above and beyond to make every patient feel valued and cared for, creating a positive experience from start to finish.
Chasity’s proactive approach makes her an essential part of our team, as she not only supports the doctor but also helps manage patient flow, prepares treatment areas, and ensures that every aspect of your visit runs efficiently. Her calm, reassuring presence is a source of comfort to all patients, especially those who may be anxious or nervous about their appointments.

Sally is a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist with a true passion for patient care. Jenna - Medical Administration

Jenna is currently pursuing her law degree while actively contributing to our team at The Foot Doctor. When she's home in Rochester, Jenna steps in as a Medical Assistant and occasionally works as the Medical Receptionist across all our offices. Her versatility extends to training new employees, ensuring they’re equipped with the skills needed to succeed. In addition to her in-office duties, Jenna works remotely, handling a variety of essential administrative tasks that keep our practice running smoothly. Fully trained in all positions at The Foot Doctor, Jenna’s expertise and adaptability make her a key member of our team. With her upbeat, joyful personality, Jenna is always ready to assist patients and ensure they have a positive experience. Zachary - Medical Administration

Zachary is currently balancing his college studies with playing college hockey, all while making valuable contributions to The Foot Doctor. Working remotely, Zac plays a vital role in handling the daily administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly. Whenever he's home in Rochester, Zac eagerly steps in as a Medical Assistant, assisting in any way he can to ensure patients receive the best care. His outgoing, friendly personality makes him a favorite among patients, who appreciate his approachable nature and willingness to help. Always ready and willing to pitch in wherever needed, Zac is an invaluable asset to our team. We are incredibly grateful to have Zachary as part of our office family.  His dedication, versatility, and strong work ethic make him an indispensable asset and he truly enhances the atmosphere at The Foot Doctor!

Ryan is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree while making a significant impact at The Foot Doctor whenever he's home in Rochester for the summer or during school breaks. Ryan lends his expertise across all of our offices, taking on a variety of roles and ensuring everything runs seamlessly. In addition to filling in as a Medical Assistant, where he supports the doctor with patient care and helps organize office needs, Ryan works closely with our Practice Manager, tackling administrative tasks that are essential to keeping the office running smoothly. Patients appreciate Ryan’s friendly and professional demeanor, and he is always ready to step in and help wherever needed.  We are fortunate to have Ryan as part of  The Foot Doctor family whenever he’s in town!   ​
